I  have had some of the Honda motorcycles from the above site on my hard drive for quite some time and tonight decided to convert them to .obj files using Poser Ray so that I can use them.

I think I'm doing something wrong :(

Here are 2 screenshots of what I get when I finish converting to .obj and import the .obj to Poser. These are 2 separate motorcycles.

The steps I do in Poser Ray are as follows:

  1. Open Poser Ray
  2. Input tab
  3. Load
  4. Select all of the DFX files associate for the motorcycle I want to assemble into an .obj and then click "Open"
  5. After Poser Ray has done it's thing, I go to "Obj Output" tab and change the name in the top little window  to .obj
  6. Click "Save"
  7. Poser Ray generates the .obj file and a corresponding .mtl file.

What I see in the preview window of poser looks like a motorcycle, but it looks plastic. They don't look anything like the bikes on that site.I mean like where is the chrome, etc?

Can someone walk me through the steps I need to do in  Poser Ray in order to assemble thse motorcycles so that they don't look like multi colour  plastic crackerjack toys or like they were dipped in red paint?
