Now that we get notification via email from R'osity I may not know about it, since the emails are from "unknown" they go directly to my junk email box, where - if I don't see them in time - they will be deleted unread...
I cannot allow emails from "unknown" to go into my safe list since some virus creators, trojans etc etc also use "unknown".
Is it possible that these email notifications can be seen to be coming from a R'osity address? So that I can get them into my safe list?
Pretty please?
Fran

That's weird. All Renderosity ebots show up as sent by "Renderosity Galleries" [ebot@renderosity.com], "Renderosity Forums"[ebot@renderosity.com] and so on in my mail client.
Can you figure out what the mail headers look like in your mail client? In Outlook it's done by right-clicking a message in the message list and choosing "Options" The result should look like this:
Return-Path: <ebot@renderosity.com>
Received: from hedwig.bondware.com (hedwig.bondware.com [66.18.106.207])
by mxdrop2.xs4all.nl (8.13.8/8.13.8) with ESMTP id l4EETa5P066055

Er....
I'm afraid I deleted them all... I won't get another one now until ... well after I've uploaded another freebie.
Oh, not using OutLook, just my paid for Hotmail.
The galleries notification and the forum post notifications are all okay, they appear as "Renderosity Forums" and "Renderosity Galleries".

Ah, so this was for the freebie upload notice? That helps.
I'll point the programmers this way :-)

I am just wondering if the "unkown" ebots have been fixed yet.
I've gotten an "Unkown" email recently as well.

I know that the programmers are aware but not sure if its been resolved yet. Depends on what their time constraints were last week. I'll check though.
