Hello
I am doing a render of some png files. I have tried changing the background to black and also checking render over black in the render options.
So then I go to make movie and check image files and export 3 test renders.
I watch the renders in poser and all of them have a black background but when I go and open the output folder containing the pngs they have a white blackground.
Please advise.

PNG's actually have a transparent background so you can put them on top of anything else easily in an image app such as Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. If you want the black background you should go for another format.

Thank you but now when I go into make movie the options button next to format is greyed out and I cannot choose which type of image file or avi to export. Please advise.

I think you can take those pngs and just convert them to jpgs or bmps or some other format and your background will change from transparent (the white you see) to a solid color. I think.

You don't get to choose that until you click the "Make Movie" button. I know it's counterintuitive, but once you use Poser for a while you get used to it's weird quirks.

You can always use the rectangle propr, from the Primitives folder and color that black and resize it to fill the background.
