What's the method for having an object disappear after you apply an explosion effect to it?,e.g..
a water tower disintergrating after being hit by a laser beam or part of the ground after being hit by a bomb or what ever..or another way to ask is how do you blow an object out of the sky if your are have and aerial shoot out?

Thanks in advance,

Depends on the software you use and the desired effect. In max I would do it with animated materials or a slice modifier for the desintegrating tower and morph targets for the ground.

I never finish anyth

In Carrara5 you can add an atomize, dissolve, or explode modifier to the object in the timeline and then you can add particle-based flames and smoke and a lens flare to fine-tune your explosion effect.

I have Vue 6 infinite how is this done in Vue?

Since this is a software specific question I would recommend asking the folks in the Vue Forum how they would achieve this effect. Vue is a fantastic landscape and environment generating app, but it is not really a 3D modeler per se, so this question could probably best be answered there.
