Great work... So is this all going to be animated in the end?? or it will be in comic form?
brycetech posted Wed, 01 August 2007 at 9:59 PM
it's already animated up to this point
it's way more entertaining (even if I did make it) in full animated form...you cant hear the intonations of the voices, the background music, the ambiant sounds..etc in comic form.
I'm still working on zbrush for the texture of the final character. I know now how...I just dont know how to do it so I can animate it
:)
thanx for asking (and for comments)

nov of last year
:)
I had to build models (ships and cyberV)
build sets, learn new ways to do things (explosions), learn software (zbrush), and then of course theres that annoying stuff like work (at a real job)...heh

the end...
:)
so there ya have it, the first Bryce/Carrara movie. Not meant to be too serious, and also meant to poke a little fun at Bryce/Carrara...all in fun.
It loses a lot from the animation to the comic-style version, but the idea is there.
On a great up-note, I recieved permission from DAZ to distribute the Carrara/Bryce files on the dvd which contain V, Chomper, the Devil, and the avatar. There will just be a few, but will provide a starting point for others who want to make such things on their computer.
:)
that's all...the end of 8 long months of hard work.

Yep, it was a lot of fun to make. And the animation rocks (I think so anyhow). It was wayyyyy too much work tho :) I did get the chance to learn 2 more apps while working on it (z brush and bodypaint) which is always a plus. The twist ending comes out really well in the animation, but I wish I coulda dedicated some more time to a little of the storyline. There's a few things that weren't elaborated on enough.
However, it was lotsa fun and like they say...an artist doesnt ever finish their art, they abandon it and move on
:)
