Hi all. This is my latest creation called "Escape Your World." I just need some opinions on what is done so far. I know that it needs a little bit more lighting in the foreground and I am working on the BG still. TNBX fer da input! thenodemastershadowcat posted Tue, 10 April 2001 at 4:22 PM
maybe have the planets be different colors and textures. I can see nothing else to input. great job.

Nodemaster: Please accept my critique in spirit of helpfulness: trying to get your art where it wants to go a bit faster. Alternative to rainbow planets :^) is considering the palette of the image as a whole. It may benefit to change the colors so that they complement the warm skin tones of the humans. So, we're talking teal, vermillion, aqua. Maybe. i know i'd have to fool with it to see what was right. Also: the frame doesn't make a lot of sense when the background behind the people looks just like the abstract multiverse in the rest of the pic. And: get the frame out of the geometric center of the picture, because it makes the whole too static & unmoving--which, given the sparks of light zipping out of the guy's "key," is far from the intent. You might also consider having the curly spirals of light come out of the fella's magic light. You might also consider making that light in the middle the only truly bright spot so that the focus is clear. This image has plenty of nice possibilities! i would love to see where it goes from here. Best wishes, Nan
