I recently purchased a new computer, which means my OS is now Vista. Poser 5 loaded fine however anytime I try to open one of the files in the library, the program locks. I can import obj but I cant get to any of the library files. Anyone now how to resolve this? Thanks for any help.
Update: OK it's not actually locking, it just takes a very, very long time for the library to open, then for the file to load into Poser. So anyone know how to resolve that issue?

What is probably happening (as your not getting an error message) is that Poser is having to search for a file (or more likely multiple files), which can take a long time.
Are you using external Runtimes ?

No, all the files are in the Runtime folder inside Poser. I have not loaded any extra content yet.

Since eFrontier no longer supports P5 my thoughts are that, like a lot of programs, it's not compatible with Vista. The only suggestion I can make is to make sure all of your drivers are up to date and, if you can, change the compatibility for P5 in Vista so that it runs like XP.
