Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 7:57 am)
My impression of pboost is that it's mainly to elimintate file loation issues, howevr with multiple runtimes, I never see that issue any more.. haven't since P6.
Plus there are also the new "collections" organization system, though I've never looked into that, nor read anyone talking about it at all.
Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.
Quote - I've not tried the collection organization yet. I primarily use P3DO Pro to organize my runtimes but there are some things it can't do yet--like search for items. I wonder if P-boost can search?
No, it can't. PBoost's usefulness basically was eliminated with multiple runtime support in the later versions of Poser.
The newer betas of Advanced Library can search... only on it's index, but it's fast doing that (the search, not the indexing ;-))).
Answering your question, yes, Pboost (1 and II) works just fine with P7. And while the multiple runtimes can be used to break up your content, if your want -custom- libraries in one runtime, you need P-booost. And it is easy to create a new library category, then move/copy whatever files you want where you want it. It isn't as indispensable as it was with P4, but it isn't ready to be round filed, either....

I've been pondering getting P-Boost II and am wondering if it is Poser 7 compatible. How many people are using this program and is it worth while. Is it easier to use than Poser's native library pallate? Give me your opinion.
