**Hey Stacey?
Can something be done about this site speed?
Used to be I could open a page from a link in mail and have enough time to see if I had an IM waiting also. Now the page loads so fast, I don't ever get to see that and have to scroll way back up again.
Gotcha!!!** :b_tonguewink:
**I figured I have about 24 hours left to rib you a bit, so I'm doing it while I can.
I'm gonna miss you while I'm gone.** :b_crying:

Oh Janet, I'm so sad:( I hope things get worked out quickly so you can get back online. Deb and I have been upset over this all day.
You don't know how much we are going to miss you. Things will NOT be the same.
:m_bawling:
Please call the office and let us know how you are doing......

**Ah gee, Stac.....you were supposed to laugh a little bit. I don't want to see you upset, Sweetie.
I gave Deb some updates from the doctor. I'm sure she won't mind filling you in.
****I'll be back as soon as I can and hang on here as long as I can. I promise. And I'll call. After all, that's free. grin Hopefully, not too long from now, you'll see a post with my name on it.
HUGS****

*On behalf the of the Rendo Elves we would like to apologise for the recent speed issues.
One of our youngest, Bobbo, got it into his head that he could feed the hamster running the main server something he calls 'speed' to help operations.
Unfortunetly, the Hamster has had to leave and go into a 'drug rehab program'. whatever that is, after his wheel exploded into flame and Mavis, (who sorts the pages by hand for each user), had a nervous breakdown trying to keep up.
We are now left with a major server issue which we aim to resolve using CPIP (carrier pigeon internet protocol) which we hope will bring our server issues to an end and put a stop to all this mucking around with daredevil speed and should help Mavis recover.
Yours
The Rendo Server Elves*

You are still here Janet, YAAAHHHHH!!
Unicornst posted Fri, 01 June 2007 at 10:14 PM
**Yep. If I have it figured correctly, I have until Monday. The phone/internet wouldn't extend my time for payment, but did allow me a few extra due to me stating it would be paid by mail. She told me that gave me 3-5 extra days.
Which is cool I got that much at least. And I don't think I'm really going to be up to being online on Monday anyhoos since I have this test called an EMG that I was informed was painful to have done and to have someone drive me cause they would "numbing" places to keep the pain levels down. Sheesh...don't those guys know that numbness in my legs is part of the problem now? grin**
StaceyG posted Fri, 01 June 2007 at 10:17 PM
Oh Janet, good luck with the test. Try and contact us by phone if you lose your internet after that when you feel better and let us know how you are doing.
Since I have store support this weekend, I'll be online most of the weekend so I'll be seeing you around the next few days anyways:):)
Unicornst posted Fri, 01 June 2007 at 10:21 PM
**I'll do that, Stacey. And I also promised Ruby that I would call her collect with the test results on Thursday. She's promised to keep Deb informed of all that goes on.
You have store support? You poor thing. grin
At least things look a little quiet in that area this weekend. wink**
StaceyG posted Fri, 01 June 2007 at 10:24 PM
Yeah, we rotate out each weekend so that we know customers are getting taken care of during the weekend hours. I like it since I am not on the Marketplace side anymore it gives me a chance to do something different and keep up to date on my store support skills. Plus I love helping people so it works out good:)
I have no life so might as well be working huh? heehee

Good Goddess! I can't believe that a gal as pretty as you, Stacey, doesn't "have a life"!
Unicornst posted Fri, 01 June 2007 at 10:30 PM
**I'll second Ardiva's statement.
But it does sound like a good way to keep those skills up to date, yep. And very good of Rendo to make sure customers/vendors have coverage through the weekend.**

blushes Thank you.. I really am a homebody :) I have a 9 year old son and he loves to go roller skating on the weekends so since I am a single mom that is my only mom break. I take him to the skating rink on Friday evenings then relax while he is away by reading or catching up on my guilty pleassure (General Hospital). He also goes on Sat late afternoon until 10:30pm so that is when I get my housework done and again relax.
Thats my life, lol.
I have been single for a little over a year so I'm just taking a break from dating and relationships, that whole bit... I enjoy being alone for now.
StaceyG posted Fri, 01 June 2007 at 10:31 PM
Yeah Janet, its not too bad because there are four of us currently on the weekend rotation so its only once a month and its a good way to keep current on the "other side" lol

Ahhh..well then I don't blame you for being a home-body then. I'm kinda like that myself except my son is all grown up and gone and my hubby is away alot with work.
So...it's housework, laundry, cooking ( I love to cook) and looking after my animals and business.
Unicornst posted Fri, 01 June 2007 at 10:36 PM
**Can't say as I blame you for wanting to take a break. Been there myself.
General Hospital? I used to watch that way back when Luke and Laura first got together. Was able to keep up with it until Luke found Laura again and then RL hit and I never really got back around to it again.**
StaceyG posted Fri, 01 June 2007 at 10:38 PM
I have been watching it on and off since I was in my twenties (42 now so its been awhile).. I can't help it, I love it:) No one else in the office keeps up with it so I have nobody to gossip about it with dang it!!!

*Ladies and Gentlemen there will be a short service outage at 9.34 Am as we feed the Pigeons and muck out the CPIP Stacks. You would not believe the Guano thats collected.
We would like to thank all that sent cards wishing get well to Mavis. She enjoyed them immensly. Stewed with a little Dandelion and served piping hot.

**Khai...Those little announcements just crack me up. It's good to hear Mavis is doing better.
Stacey....I'd offer to gossip with you about it, but since I haven't seen it in years....there wouldn't be all that much to gossip about. wink**
