These things are always more fun when done with other people.
DPH,
More chances on a German Sheperd morphs before a Sybil Sheppard one. :)
But Joseph(Netherworks) has released a incredible version of his infamous conversion kits. I had some back stage peeks as it was going and this one is tops, and not just because it is for Apollo.
Easier to convert hair these days I think.

Hope you're paying to use Bruce's name & image? Guess copyright doesn't apply to this either then? I find it amazing what some people can get away with in 3D.
silverthornne posted Mon, 04 June 2007 at 6:46 AM
I'm not a lawyer but from what I understand, as long as it's not used for profit, and there's no product that would have its sales affected by it, there should be minimal issues. Btw, thanks for answering my Part 4 question Anton :).
byAnton posted Mon, 04 June 2007 at 3:32 PM
Aye.
I am a huge advocate of RIght to Publicity, which I have spoken about often. This is a non-commercial fan art.
I would likelwise appreciate it Dajadues, if you dig alitlle deeper before judging my decision making ability and ethics.
If you need any links and such for your own peace of mind on the issue, you can email me at antonkisiel@verizon.net and I can point you to some good reading material.
If you want to discuss the issue of commercial likenesses, on the otherhand, you might post at the Daz forums instead. Otherwise I consider this line of topic closed.
Thanks and regards,

This came together really well Anton! Can't wait to make a Daniel Craig / Bruce Willis hybrid!
DPH - You'd really need a top quality moustache for a Chuck Norris morph. Norris is all about the 'tache!
I'd love to see one for Firfely's Malcom Reynolds (AKA Nathan Fillion) - Mainly because I saw an absolutely horrible M3 morph over in the Daz freebies forum that was a crime against nature!
He's unique and masculine, and from my limited experience with Apollo, achievable.
If we can hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominos will fall like a house of cards...checkmate!

ClawShrimp posted Mon, 04 June 2007 at 11:53 PM
That works, but it's far from ideal DPH.
Even with a decent displacement map you'd be fighting a losing battle.
For those shooting for realism a hair/beard/moustache prop is absoltuely necessary. Unless you're willing to wait a million years for something out of the Hair Room to render :).
MissNancy - Daniel Craig was done in the same way as Bruce Willis. A joint effort by like minded lunatics (myself included) at the CP formums. It can be found at the same link (Apollo's homepage).

Tried a 50/50 Craig/Willis morph last night...not pretty :). Leaning more towards either morph (70/30) works much better.
The new face MAT is great too! You really captured the lines around his mouth well.
You're right about Willis with dark skin Anton. It works surprisingly well.

Hi!
First of all many thanks for Apollo and allso many thanks for these morphs. The look wonderfull. :D
I was wondering if you gentlemen too requests. I'd like a James Masters (The actor who played Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer) morph or David Boreanaz (Angel in the Tv Series Buffy and Angel). I think Apollo could be made to look like James Masters quite easily but all my own efforts have been...well for a lack of a better word...utter shite. In any case thank you.

Hey there,
Yeah APollo can do those. Both human and deamon variations.
It really depends ont he group at the moment. I'll help with any look alike projects. Different people work on different ones, though there is a base group of us.
Once I get though Vin diesel, and some other things I'll have time to work on more. I would recommend going to the Apollo forum and starting a James Masters thread. If people are interested, they will jump on.
I would focus on one. I would say, do James Masters.

Hey there,
Sorry I have missed a lot of threads and have to ctach up on reading but I have been tweaking the hell out of this dial pose character we have been working on. No new morphs, just dial spins like the "Apollo as.." Daniel Craig and Bruce Willis.
This is rendered in Poser4. Can ya believe it? Just a bland light set. He is gonna be goooood.
I though have this uploaded today. But I need sleep. I wanted to show everyone another one of the lookalikes we have been working on in the Apollo Forum. I think it looks like him. You think so? I am hoping it is obvious who it is. crosses fingers. Not Alan Alda. :)
