I was wondering if there is a way to bring an animation from Poser 4 into Bryce 4.1? If you can help i would appriciate it greatly. Thanx!

It cannot be done - not in the fashion you (and I and everyone) expected anyway... You can either go through the laborous task of exporting the model's individual movements as obj and importing and rendering and importing and positioning next one and render, etc... ludicrous nuisance! Or you can, depending on what's happening in the anim, render your Bryce 'set' or setting and use it as a background image in Poser to animate against. If your background doesn't require movement this is not a bad method. It has worked nicely for me twice - especially in an anim Im going to post shortly. So knowing that method, with proper planning you can get around this until Bryce 5 when I've got to assume they're gonna make just importing the animation data with the model happen. Konan is working on just such a utility. And he has an impressive track record of developing similar products. Check out this link to a thread about this subject in this very forum: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=253913

a clickable link of the above. Bryce 5 is currently in Beta testing. No information from Corel is available regarding a release date, but stuff in beta testing usually comes out before year's end. If we're lucky it will be out this summer, who knows.seedpress posted Wed, 11 April 2001 at 4:23 PM
Flickerstreak: Has there been any info (or rumors) indicating that Bryce 5 will be able to import Poser 4.1 animations? Also, what did you do to make your link (as above) active (clickable)? I typed mine in, but although it is a good link, you would have to cut and paste it. Do you have to type in the HTML code? Seems like I have posted active links before without having to code them. . .

Cool. I hope the Bryce 5 beta version is available by this summer. Konan's program will skyrocet creativity. I have been trying to do some nice 3d/anime but the whole animation with poser and importing it into bryce has been a drag.
