Well, I am not sure on this, but the morphs do the trick to get closer. Could not coax too much out of this one but adding texture to the image overall gave a nice effect.

The hair looks great! The eyes do too. And the lighting and canvas texture really add to the image. Maybe try some gradient in the skin tone? The color is a bit too uniform right now. (Real skin has so many different shades and tones in varying places on the body.) Are you using a texture on him? The "Adam" texture is probably the most realistic I've seen for the Poser guy. -Nemo

thank you, I did not use the Adam texture, where can I find it? I used the flat p4man texture...mostly tried to use lighting to get rid of the plastic look....but I agree a texture would really help. I have to learn more about how to make those photo-realistic textures...so much to learn so little time (well and get some sleep!):-)

Hi Lorraine! You can get the Adam texture at John Johnsen's site... it's at http://www.graphicheaven.com/Poser/JJ.html . Turning down the "highlight" setting in the materials also helps to get rid of the plastic look (real skin isn't that shiny.) -Nemo

How did you do the hair? Curious as to what you did. Maybe it can be duplicated in P3?

The hair was male #5, stock version with a little bit of touch up I think, otherwise it is just the angle along with the light. I did struggle and tried various lights, camera angles etc. I would think that this could be duplicated in P3...

Hey, not bad! Not bad at all!! In fact, it's quite well done. Radart.

But where did the hair texture come from? I've tried making my own with very little success. I have however been able to make some texture maps for the body that make the guy a little more realistic looking.

hair was stock model, then used some transparancy settings, then touched up with photopaint, but I did very little as the color and transparancy seemed to be alright;
