Subject: Question... How do I colour pencil work in PS

I was wondering if anyone know's how to colour images in PS? I have a tablet and have started smoothing out the ruff edges from scan my drawing but I'm still not sure how to add colour and shadows and highlights.  If anyone colud offer any help that would be great!

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

use the path tool to get clean ink lines, then use that as a multiplying layer over the colour zones, which are masked by the same ink paths.
