What in the world is going on here? DAZ Studio runs completly sluggish under vista. Is anyone else having the same problem? Are there any quick fixes? If I load any more than three Props in a scene at once of moderate textures and detail, D/S is almost non- navigatable under Vista! I have tweeked video settings till I am blue in the face. Everything on my current hardware worked like a dream before...just have had problems after the new operating System.

I dont have Vista, so I can't help you, hopefully someone who is more familiar with the OS will pop in to help...from what I have heard, Vista isn't too friendly to alot of programs

No problem here, DS runs better in Vista then in XP.
The problems looks like video drive. If you use video borad from NVidia take care with the last drive because it cont use OpenGL 2.1
Openup DS and go to menu Help / About Your Video Card and looks what is the OpenGL version.
If you use a FX5XXX series from NVIdia is time to upgrade because NVidia decided to not support this chipset anymore... You still can use it with internal Vista drive but you cant get OpenGL 2.1 with this drive. I am using the drive version 158.18

From what I've seen in the threads, lately, most people solve the issue by going to an earlier version of the drivers...... LOL... How many times have you heard the advice/question.. "Do you have the latest drivers"    Lou.

"..... and that was when things got interestiing."
