I was testing a theory last night, but unfortunately have hit a wall.
I was seeing if I could make a dynamic shirt for Apollo using nothing but Poser (no modelling application). I loaded the Apollo OBJ and used the grouping tool to create a shirt shaped prop from Apollo’s geometry. I then scaled the prop slightly larger to ensure it didn’t intersect with Apollo in any way.
The problem is, when I run it through a cloth simulation the whole thing falls to pieces. It looks to be breaking at the Apollo body-part joints.
My experience with Poser’s grouping tool is limited (roughly 48 hours :P), but is there any way to avoid this ‘breaking’ of the prop?
If we can hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominos will fall like a house of cards...checkmate!
