Is anybody knows how to model and animate hair justlike the Resident Evil 3 NEMESIS CGI ? I'm very curious about the stylish hair, wind effect on hair, and how to create it without so many spline modelling ? By the way I'm using 3DS MAX STUDIO R4, please suggest me another program if you know what is better for this hair-making project. PLEASE, CONTACT ME AT exocet78@onecooldude.com (If you aren't busy)or just post a reply for my message

I haven't seen what your saying but my guess is the hair is done with particle systems such as 'Shag hair' for 'Max' by 'Digimation'. Polygons, for that kind of stuff is usually a no no as it would be a memory hog. Then again I could be way off beam...

You can make windblown hair with the wave generator. There's a tutorial on poseworks at the link below. You will have to play with this a bunch to make it work well. GrayMare
