Is it possible to import Poser cloth into Bryce via Daz or ay other way other than saving the pertinent
files as an obj. format? I apologize if this has been previously covered, I looked and could not find a thread regarding the subject.

hmm...depends. Poser cloth as in clothing (some are objects, some are 'dynamic'), or the textures (usually texture files in the runtimetextures (whatever directory name they could make it, with as many !!!s as would fit..;) ?

Just as a dumb question, Why not as an obj file? Or do you want to be able to pose in Bryce but just haven't said it yet.

Because importing it as an object is a pain in the rear. Firstly you have to go and look up all the textures you used and manually apply them. As huge as my runtime is, it's not always easy to even know where to look without doing research. Secondly, it's been my experience that the eyes become black holes. I believe that has to do with eyebrow//eyelash transparencies, but no one has ever been able to offer me a fix for that.
I do all the posing in Poser. The clothified piece of clothing always reverts to it's original form when imported into Bryce. In Carrara, you can get around this by forwarding the animation frames to the last frame thereby allowing the cloth to rassume to it's intended shape.
I don't know of a way to do that in Bryce.

The eyeball bit goes back to at least Poser 4. Usually you use ctrl+mouse click to select the outermost layer of the eyeball, and use the Bryce top left glass mat (default), and all the other layers should shine through.
As for dynamic clothing, I'm not sure about later versions, but Version 5 didn't play well with it, though the object versions would sometimes 'come over'.
There's a program (or was) in Freestuff called 'grouper', that would tie all your textures together for export from Poser to Bryce.

I don't have Poser reloaded yet from a computer change so forgive me if I get names wrong. I'll try this from memory since no one else has replied yet.
I think when you export an animated series the export window defaults to the first frame. If you change the number to the end frame then export your cloth morphs should stick.
Supposedly Bryce 7 will handle animations from poser when it is released. Till' then it's all done the long way by hand. Sorry!
