Heres the deal then folks, create your own secret garden. Use what ever methods you desire. Imports and postwork allowed. Postwork should not dominate the image but be more of an enhancement. For those who wanted the Distant world challeng, then create a garden on a distant world.
Cheers
Joe

Well, this challenge should be fun, but I'm a little worried about amount of time I can put into it. I'm coming home too exhausted to do much. That leaves the weekend for Brycing. But I do intend to submit something... even if it ain't finished ;-)

I’m in. I hope I can complete mine in time as well. I'm moving and everything will be in disarray. Is there a deadline yet?
orbital posted Wed, 11 July 2007 at 1:50 AM
Deadline should be 31st August so hopefully you should be able to come up with something.
Bryster, Hope you got some SAM missles if you gonna get me in my Balloon.

AUGUST 31ST?!?! So this is what I get for being busy working, and trying to tinker with my personal projects? All of this on top of a recent reformat? Almost no notice!!!!!

Sorry Grasshopper, but this meassage was posted on the 9th July. Things round here are not running as normal what with AS and Zhanns personal schedule limiting their time in the forum.
So the usual way of running challenges is not happening at the mo, so collectively we are trying to improvise. If you want to enter, but need a bit more time I'm sure we can stretch it for you, let me know.
Cheers
Joe

No, I understand how it is right now. I should be good. I think. But I don't think I will need extra time. All I need to do now is figure out how to put a garden together. I thought I had it last night, but since I was drunk, I took another look when I woke up. It looks good, but not much of a garden. I guess that's my lesson though. Alcohol and Bryce don't mix.
grasshopper1980 posted Sun, 19 August 2007 at 9:56 AM
Never mind, drinking and rendering do go together. I was on the right track, so at this point in time, I will be good. Just have to get it all put together and rendered.

Perhaps that could be the theme for the next challenge! We all get sh?t faced then see what we come up with.
grasshopper1980 posted Mon, 20 August 2007 at 7:47 AM
Good idea actually. You would be surprised what you do come up with. The only problem is when you sober up, though. You look at what you did, and even if you remember doing it, you can't understand why.
