We finally have a Photo Manipulation Genre for your heavily postworked photos. 👍 Photographic images that have been heavily altered by filters or combined with other photos would be suitable for this genre. The popular "3D photos" springs to mind. All the photos used must be yours however. If you use stock photos, then you should put your image in the 2D Gallery still (though you can still use the Photo Manipulation Genre). And photos combined with 3D elements should be in the Mixed Medium Gallery. Use your best judgement. If an image is totally removed from it's photographic origins, then it probably belongs in another gallery.

Good news indeed - glad it is here now :)

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

Works great for me. I guess I'll be using that category quite a bit.  ;^)

The reason we asked for this was to try to keep more work in our gallery..

as Kort stated..if it's a stock photo..it's 2D

if non Photo elements have been used..it's mixed medium

now with this..we can keep the more heavily manipulated images in our gallery because we have a place for them now..

We can also thank the administration at Renderosity for helping us Photographers in this matter..

I'm happy to hear this. Now I can upload a few more photos off my harddrive I was never sure of.
