I dunno, but I get about 16,000 hits on google for the phrase in the subject line.

If you're talking about that weird trailer that aired before Transformers; it's an untitled alien invasion movie produced by Lost creator JJ Abrams. "Cloverfield" is the studio code word for it.
See it here.

Sure its not a giant monster flick? Looked like Blair Witch meets Godzilla.

There's an Intel processor core named that as I recall.

It could be a giant monster movie. They're really keeping a lid on this flick. Other than the trailer, I don't think anything's been shot for it yet.

I hear rumors that it has something to do with somebody named Lovecraft....

Its not about a processor core - tho it would be nice to have a core powerful enuf to rip the head off the Statue of Liberty and toss it down the street.

They have more footage than just the trailer in the can since filming started some time ago.

Cthuhlhu? Maybe. Godzilla? Nope. Voltron Defender of the Universe? Uh, nope.

Ive been a little misleading here. Cuzz I do know more about it than I let on. Sorry.

I hear giant monster, ala Godzilla. The by now famous trailer didn't seem all that impressive to me. Maybe I've grown jaded.
