Subject: How can I have a split camer view-under water and above at same time?

I am using vue 5 infinite....and I was sure there was someone who did, and told how, to place a cube of water up to the camera and be able then to see "in" ...under the water, and the surface-top of the water at the same time....er... was that in Bryce?

Regardless I would think an idea like that in Bryce would work in Vue and I am trying SO HARD to set up my camera to see both...I have very clear water, atmosphere with no clouds (no haze or fog either) to try this...and all I get is very odd looking water-ish stuff that is not clear... no matter where I put the camera... :(

I put the camera touching the cube, totally inside, half and half, up and down, slant up and down and on and on.... no go.  I SO want to make a picture that will show the platypus in the water, looking up out, and that we the viewer can see both under water and on top at once....

HELP! :))

Thanks for any suggestions!

PS I did try a search for threads on this but couldn't find anything.

I am PLEASED ! I am starting to put stuff in...(caustics will be last) she is looking at a dolphin, I put a sea turtle and a pelican floating along on the water too.. Smile

I need to go back to poser and get my lobsters and few other sea creatures I forgot... was making vob's of many sea creatures for hours when I saw that this was going to work...

I have a LOT of work to do yet...I may even try turning on the sun's shadow just a little bit... we'll see... so far I need to light each object... at the very least it will be a "still" BUT if I can make this thing go quick time panorama I will really be excited! Smile
