Forgive me if these  are silly questions, but I am thinking of getting poser 7, but I like the poser 6 characters. My question is...
Can one use characters from poser 6  in poser 7?

Also, is there that much difference in poser 7 to warrant an update from poser 6?

Thank you for any help you can give me will be most apprciated

AFAIK you can use characters from any previous version of Poser in Poser 7.

P7 doesn't look or feel much different to P6, but if you like things such as faster render times (on a multicore system), better morphing tools, multiple undos, etc. then buy it.

Yes, you can use any of the Poser figures in P7 - several folders worth of previous figures are included in Poser 7.

As for going from P6 to P7, can't really say there, I went straight from P5 to P7. But 7 does have some new features that are well worth the upgrade.

The old stuff still works in 7.  I use those low-poly P2 figures, and use good old
Posette all the time.  No problems.

The best new feature is that you can customize keyboard shortcuts, and you
can even assign keys to a few Python scripts.  Speeds up habitual work
patterns tremendously.

Thank you all so much for your input.
I have decided that I will upgrade to poser 7 and give it a go.
