I remember seeing it done using a walk path and walk designer but it was too confusing.
I don't read or write code and i'm not sure how to parent the car to anything without it looking like its having a seizure. any help is always appreciated. Ed

Try my Hansel and Gretel scripts. Hansel lets you draw a real-time
path, with stops and speed changes where you want them .. using a map
as background if desired. Gretel then applies the motion to a chosen object.
You could then apply the Steering script to the vehicle to make it
face the proper direction.

Thanks. sounds helpful. I'll try and give it a shot, although I don't know anything at all on how to utilize a script. I don't understand the procedure. any step by step on this? I'm assuming i take the .py scripts and drop them in the python scripts folder in my runtime. after that..........?
thanks a millon for any more help on this, I really want to pull this off. Eddie

Will this work on helicopters as well?, and will this work in anyother program ?

This does come with quirks, for want of a better word. for instance, the object does follow the path you draw . but too much in my opinion. unless it is a prob on my end, a vehicle does not travel the path smoothly. instead it follows EVERY little jagged edge of
the line. ??????
Another BIG issue I have is, after having removed the hansel and gretel folders and trash them, I get a window prompting me to "locate cameras and lights" every time I start Poser.
Ockham, any help here?

Why not just use walk designer?

Thanks for replying. I have tried walk designer and If memory serves correct, It wont work with a vehicle. someone had suggested parenting the car to a figure and hiding the figure. well I tried that and the car literally walked the path. maybe you have a better solution? thanks.
