I'm looking for a really good sports bike (motorcycle) for Poser. I have seen some excellent ones for 3dmax but none for poser. Does anyone know where I can find one? Will 3dmax .obj files work in Poser?
Thanks

3dmax .obj files work in Poser? It depends on what you mean by "work." They will load, provided they're in the 3ds format. (There's another max format that doesn't work at all.) They will probably load huge and you'll need to size them. Nothing will move unless you turn the prop into a figure in Setup. Surely Daz3d has a motorcycle or two. I've seen them elsewhere but can't recall the sites or format.

Daz3D has motorcycles but they are either have a futuristic style, world war II style, dirt bike style, or chopper. I'm looking for something like this for poser.

These look nice but they're expensive. If they don't suit you, go to Google and search for "motorcycle 3d model."

There are some sport bike models here but if I remember right you have to put them together to make them work in poser. POV ray does it and its a free program but I don`t remember where to find it

Yep! That Honda Fan site is great! I recently downloaded their models and converted them to props to use.
I had some problem because I was using the DXF download files instead of the LWO ones.

PoserWorld's sports motorbike is good. If you don't have a subscription (and you should; the value is unbeatable) they have a one month $20 special - download all you can...Virtua36 posted Mon, 23 July 2007 at 9:29 AM

Thanks for the Honda Link.
I had two Honda 750s, until I moved on to BMWs.

This is Renderosity, search on bike, and motorcycle in the Market Place. They may not be Hondas, but there are lots of nice bikes here.

**EnglishBob
I have that motorcycle already. I used it in one of my renders and I thought it was going to be enough for me. I'll probably break down eventually and spend some big bucks on a .obj with joints model. **

Nice bike, but will it work with poser 7? I'll have to check to see if may Shade 7 can handle 3DS

Sorry, my fault. I thought that I specified Poser in my search, and that still came up. Oh, well.
