I suppose you know how it is. You're having one of those days, and you come across one thing, and your subconscious makes a flurry or weird connects. And then you think, "Hey, I could do this in Poser." In this case, the prompt was a deservedly savage deconstruction of Tarnsman of Gor, by bellatrys over on LiveJournal, with all the manly manliness of the deep mutual regard in which Tarl Cabot and Marlenus of Ar hold each other. And I found myself thinking of the Regimental Slow March of the Special Air Service Regiment, Lili Marleen. So, there's a few old versions of the song on the net. Anyone going to animate it, straight or otherwise?

What's a "yute?" What's a "Kajira?" Gorean terms?
I was curious about the Gor series until I ran into a woman's BDSM site for "Gorean slaves." Then I realized that Gor was probably a room best left unexplored.
"The extent to which Norman intended this philosophy to be taken literally, rather than as a vehicle of sexual fantasy, is debatable." A college professor with tenure is a good thing to be if you come out with the stuff he did. But I can see why it would be a natural for Poser.

If Norman parses differences between "literal philosophy" and "sexual fantasy," then let that be added to his sins of intellectual dishonesty.

Personally, the idea of this sort of degenerate holding tenure makes me want to spit. Norman is one of those self-serving sociopaths who, like Donatien de Sade of the stinky wine bottle, regard the fact that something can happen as proof that it is natural (what is called a circular argument) and even so project their fantasies on nature (stallions rape) and then use those fantasy "facts" to prove that it's Ok to have sex with the mouths of decapitated children.

Sigh. Me too. Little Timmy needs "future handcuffs" to give the girl he loves. And tennis ball gag. And....
