The new Daz Studio looks good for posing characters but its not obvious if I can load the results into Carrara?

Currently only by exporting to a format that Carrara supports and re-importing. Carrara 6 will have much improved DAZ|Studio integration.

At the moment it is best to export as .obj from DS to Carrara. I have a feeling that Collada will be the DS/Carrara interchange file in Carrara 6--just a guess.

Collada seems very interesting, I can see that opening up lots of possibilities for everyone particularly Renderosity (and hence us) who will be able to share assets between all of the applications.
