I purchased Mat Pose Creator and successfully added the V4 Nymph dress. I also created texture files for this dress, but unfortunately the Mat Pose Creator does not want to use it. I choose the browse option and select the jpg file, but it does not want to show it in the block intended for it and also, when I save the pz2 file and import it into Poser 7 it does not work at all. Please help! I do not know what else to try....

You can also get a lot of good information in his forums. I don't own Mat Pose Creator but I do own QuickMat by the same author and have been a member of his forums for a while now.

Thank you very much. I believe it is because the texture files is not in the correct folder. I will test it again over the weekend. Thank you all for your reply's and thank you Mr. Hoagland for your e-mail and your reply on this forum. I was off-line for the last two days and only received everything this morning. I will definately visit your help page to learn more. I am still a newby on this whole Poser world of fun.

I've got the same problem, but my textures are inside the runtime:textures place and yet the bloody wings that I'm trying to texture still appear white! I'm going crazy already... so puzzleing...

Lenora - open the MAT file using Wordpad (if you use windows) look for the lines that read something like these..
*This example is of a correctly written line, *
textureMap ":Runtime:Textures:kat:Heli_06_MB.jpg"
*This example is badly written:
*textureMap "D:my maps :Runtime:Textures:kat:Heli_06_MB.jpg"
Can you post one or 2 of these lines - so I can see if theres a problem with that ?
Lenora2 posted Sun, 09 December 2007 at 10:28 AM
I have written them right, I already looked for errors trough the source file (using wordpad of course)
I'm so sad... I will look again...
EDITED:
I actually realised something very odd... the mat creator is NOT creating the pz2 file... it only creates the rsr file and the png... weird stuff happens to me...
EDITED AGAIN:
Sorry guys... for some weird odd reason last night the MAT Creator was not doing anything... today it is funcioning perfectly normal... I really do not know why since I changed nothing in it's configurations... as I said before, weird things happen to me...
But thanks for the attention!
