Mica book found in old mine site: The lines are the ends of countless sheets stacked as formed by nature; the other part is the face, very reflective and partially transparent but actually quite flat.

Some nice textural abstracts everyone.

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

Very nice Joe, what exactly is that? Welcome Mark, a super first entry esp. considering you are new at this. Cute one slawa, I like that the focus is on the "nostrils." ;'] nikolais -- I think you forgot your image. :o)

These were on the ground near these rocks at 13,000 feet. Around here we call them "Pussy Paws", I don't know the technical name.

This is on the back of an RV - it goes all the way across the back, behind the rear wheels.  I don't know what it's called.  I hope nobody saw me taking this photo!  They'll send the nice young men in the clean white coats after me!
