Hi all,
Ever since I did the new update, I have not been able to get dynamic clothes to work from P6 to Vue 6 Infinite. Every time I import, I select only the frame with the completed animation and it brings over a posed character, but the shirt I am using, which I have used before in one of my images, stays at zero point or close to that.
So far, here are the steps I have tried to fix it:
1. Resaved poser file.
I hope someone has been able to fix this, because I was just getting used to dynamic clothes before this happened. Thanks for any help you can give.
Joe

My Vue6Inf has never worked right in that respect, [unless that's how it's supposed to work], I always have to import the whole animation for the dynamic cloth to work and also advance the frame to the end frame as Vue brings it in at frame 1.
Injustice will be avenged.

I tried last night and it seemed to work ok (my last upload - imported frame 60), I'm going to try the morph target route as I want to do some fiddling in Hexagon after I run the sim to smooth some of the jaggies out.
I dunno why mine seem to work unless I was just lucky with the last one. I've got some more I want to do tonight when I get home from work - I'm currently playing with Velvet shaders in Vue so I need something to work on :)

I am assuming that you want just a single frame from a Poser "clothifying" session. I've never been able to work comfortably with Vue's animation (not enough practise), so I go about it from the "other end"....
In Poser, create and collapse an animation:
After the above you should end up with a single frame which has both the pose you wanted and the clothing that fits that pose.
Edited to add: The export/import route will lose any special Materials applied to the clothing, including transparancy values. Either re-apply them before saving the single frame, or re-do the materials in Vue (probably better). This is one of the reasons for saving the groups when exporting ...
In Vue:
I have Poser 5/6 and V5I. It works with those, so should work with later versions..
Hope that helps,
Cheers,
Diolma

In Poser create spawn objet with your dynamic cloth at the frame you find best dynamic morphing and using it as morph for the prop at the frame 1 , ;delete the others frames;save your Poser file and import in Vue
For me it working but i never did as animation of course.

The animations used to work for me, without needing to do that, but not in the last 2-3 updates. Love esther PS something is actually wrong and we should write to them about it.
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
