Would anyone be willing to assist in an unusual matter? I have need of a good unimesh skin for a V3 character. But, I am unable to make one. The only 2d graphic program I have at my disposal is MS paint. Not good for high definition work, I'm afraid.
Anyway, to get on with it. All I need, really, is a couple full body skins. Two human, with a single tattoo on the left shoulder blade for one, and another with that, and a full back tattoo. Both will be provided for ease of use.
Second, I would need a furred texture. Something anthropomorphic, but not beastly. (Something that creates an illusion of short fine fur over the skin.) Some stripes, or spots, with a design over one eye, with the shoulder blade tattoo in the same location.
I have nothing to compensate whomever does this for me with, save for the work they do. I have no claim other than creation over the full back, but it is a very ornate one. (I like to think so anyway.) I hope someone will come to the rescue here. But, if not, oh well.
Pictures of the tattoos available on request.

there's a lady here, RNkaren IIRC, who has done alotta free v3 textures that are very good IMVHO. LD is the one to help ya with furries. just my VHO, mind you, but I think those furries are pervy, based on my experience in the porno business in the past.
Angel_Natavi posted Mon, 13 August 2007 at 2:44 PM
You would be right. We are little perverts. But, the art that can be done with them is a lot more... beautiful, in my oppinion, than regular humans, save for fairies.

Sounds lile you want to do a "Were" man to animal morph.
Will check with a few friends.

Please do. It would help me a lot.

No argument from me.
Though the same can probably be said of Poser users.

Hey now. Lets keep this on topic. IE, helping me with my skinning problem. (There is no good way to say that.)

dang! and I was just about to expound on the porno evolutionary ladder! but seriously, angel, I'm tellin' ya - those RNkaren textures are fab, and we can tell ya how to superimpose any tattoo via the shader tree.

Quote - Hello,
Is this kind of what you were looking for with the tattoo? I did take some "poetic license" with the colors. This is on a purchased texture but it coud be set up as a layer to add to any.
@_@ Yes! As for the colors, I could care less. They were black and grey for purposes of expediency in the making. But, that works perfectly! Absolutly! Now, can you tell me how you did that.

Hdrider posted Tue, 14 August 2007 at 5:53 PM
Well, the method I used is kind of expensive. First I took the image into PaintShop Pro and added the color and transparencies. I loaded Poser with V3 and a torso texture. Then saved the V3 as an object file to the folder where the torso texture and tat textures were. I used Deep Paint 3D ($$) to paint the tat right on the imported object and texture.
Now, there may be an easier and less expensive way to do this. Hopefully someone else will post some info.
If not, when you get the tattoos and body texture together, I'll volunteer to set up the file(s) for you.

I'll take you up on that offer. I really do appreciate it. As for right now, all I have for the shoulder tattoo is a MS paint made version, and no other. So its fairly pixelated at the moment.

Figures. I suppose I should have said that all I have to work with is the free version of DAZ. 1.5, and Bryce 5.5.

And here is the other tattoo. This one goes dirrectly onto the left shoulder blade, right smack dab in the middle of it. Or close nearby anyway. It should be about the size of her palm. Or if you can't put it on her shoulder blade, her left bicep, with the tattoo on the outside would be acceptable too.

Oooh! Yes! But, either on the left bicep or left shoulder blade. And kind of birth mark brown, please. Or a dark grey.

I'm a bit confused (not hard to do). You want the insignia tattoo on the back with the other one or by itself?
I tried the insignia on the left bicep but it didn't work so well. I'll work on it and see what I can come up with.

When I get the different skins, I want four total. One human with shoulder only, and another human with both tattoos. Full back and the shoulder. Then two furry skins, one with shoulder only and the other with both. Make sense?

Found a good human base to put the tattoos on. I like this one, particularly because of the basic-ness of it. Its not flashy, but it is still a good one.
If that doesn't work, search for Pia for v3 in the free stuffs. Still waiting on the animalistic skins though.
