I have a clean Win XP (SR2) build this morning. I try to reply to a message thread and I can't place the cursor in the edit box when using IE. I can however reply using Firefox. I assume this is some type of ActiveX issue, I'd like to think I could reply to a message using the default IE settings.

I don't know why that happened to you. I've used IE and no problems replying. Sometimes no matter which browser I use, I'll get a tiny comment box and it won't enlarge for anything. Maybe just a glitch?

maybe your security settings are too high in your "tools/internet options" (don't think you could log in though if they were) to allow activex scripting (whatever)
the machine i am on right now is XP (pro) sr2, with IE7.
i think i remember having to do some changes with IE7, just can't remember what, but it didn't work from default settings like IE6 did.
so not much help there then,
honestly "very helpfull info" is usually my middle name!!...........ooh no! ...ruthlessness is my middle name................er..........no cunning is my middle na..........i'll just go out and come in again!!!
