Does anybody recognise this piece of work?  I'm sure I've seen it posted on Renderosity but I didn't favorite it (I might be mistaken though) and I'm at a bit of a loss as to explain why I have this small version kicking around.

I've never seen it before but curiosity got to me so I did a search.

The vessel looks incredibly like the Freighter Daniel Morgan that was sank by the German U boat  U88 off Archangel in July 1942. All but 2 of the crew were rescued by the Russian ship Donbass and taken to Archangel.

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

Thanks for the info.  I'm beginning to wonder if I saw it on Rendo now, it may have been eMailed to me by a friend.

You could Google® image search its file name (the one you have)

Question the question. Answer the question. Question the answer...

I wish I knew what I was gonna say :oP

i am definitley sure i saw this image posted here in renderosity by someone few days ago. the reason i didn't comment on the image was because as usual i was at work & didn't have the time to.
So the question is, was it a look alike or is someone posting other peoples images?

A search or RR and the web didn't turn up a lookalike photo for me, but it does look familiar, like a photo I may have seen when taking my history of photography class in college.
