I keep having some of my images disappear or under "can only be viewed by moderator".What does that mean?

That might well mean they have been put on hold for one raeson or another and there should be a notice about it in your Site Mail...that flashing thing at the top left of the side bar on the right.
Failing finding a notice about it you mught want to contact an Admin person. This is done through the Members drop down menu at the top and going down to who's online which has a seperate box at the top listing staff online where you can chose one or just send an email to, I believe as I haven't done this recently: admin@renderosity.com

Its about the thumbnail dbyrd, there is nudity in it and that is against our thumbnail policy. Please check your sitemail to get the information from the team member who will work with you on this.

Thanks to all that replied. I figured out that by not posting a thumbnail,my original image defaulted to a thumbnail. I apologize for this.
