I am taking a disc into Harvey Normans photo shop tomorrow to get some of my uploads printed out. I was wondering should i resize my images back to 1600x1200 how the camera took them or leave them in the size (900x1200ish) i have uploaded on RR? Which size would get better quality in the prints?
cheers sue

Hello Sue,
use your original files, not the RR ones ! When you have resized your image to a lower size, you've loosed details. Put the image to a bigger will give a poor result ! The system cannot recreate details.
I'm working on my pics for an exhibition in march, i use only my tiff files in the original size. I give it to my local printer shop (it's a good an pro one), and she plays with it lol)
hope this help

the shots i upload have been resized to smaller...950x1250. My original shots are 1200x1600, so i can use the render uploaded ones ok, can't i?

The quality will not be as good for the resized images. Take the original files and touch them up if needed and print from those.

ALWAYS print from the largest size possible. Also doing a test print might be a good idea as well so you know how they come out before you spend a load printing off your entire catalogue. You can also see how well your computer/screen is calibrated in terms of what comes out on paper and make adjustmensts accordingly.
