Hi folks!
I've just seen that C6 Standard is released. I own C5 and the upgrade is 46$ for Platinum members. Here is what i ask:
Will C6 Standard bring me something i don't have yet to have a use of it?
note: about dynamic hair, i tried with P6, but didn't get any good results.

Based on your work flow, it doesn't look like you'll need C6. If you'd like to eliminate a program-hop, you can pose and render in C6 very easily. C6 does have a faster render engine than Vue6. I routinely use Hex with Carrara for complex modeling because Hex and Carrara play very well together. The Hair editor is kind of a personal preference. Personally, after having used both hair editors (P7 and C6), C6 has a more robust, versatile and easy to use hair editor. The C6 hair seems more friendly to editing, especially when using the complete set of Shader Room options for styling and curling. I'ts fuzz is killer. But that's me - the crazed ravings of a lunatic madman.

That was what had catched my eyes, the hair editor...
But i assume you can NOT import hair into Vue, so i'm just wondering about the use i could have of it...

If Vue is the render destination, no use. If C6Pro is the render destination, quite a few uses. ;-)

Your work flow and mine are pretty much the same, P6 for posing, Silo and Hex for modeling, Vue 6 Pro Studio for rendering.
However, I think you've missed the boat a little by not giving C5 a try at least. I find I'm going to C6, now, more often then Vue, unless I'm doing a super hdri image. IMHO Vue does have the superior render engine, but, Vue is at heart what it is a landscape renderer. You know those jagged edges you can get on a Poser Character when rendering that will not go away not matter your AA settings, won't happen in C5 or C6. On the other hand, the implimentation of hdri in C5 or C6 leaves something to be desired, though it is there.
C6 does not required the additional resources of Poser to allow you to adjust a pose, on the other hand, if you use multiple runtimes as I do, C6 cannot find .objs, etc, till you tell it where they are.
My suggestion to you would be take some time to play with C5, if you like it, you'll love C6.
