When trying to save a model to the preset library i get the error message 'generic failure'. If i lose the texture on the model, it saves fine, but i can't save the model to preset with the texture map included. Anybody seen this before, know what causes it, or know a way around it? Cheers, Alex

When I had a similar problem some time back, I was told by a forum member that Bryce does not like long file names for photos used as textures, and that did turn out to be the problem in my case. Might that be the same problem in your case?

I think this happened to me when the category folder reached a certain size. I created a new one and it saved fine.

Thanks BecSchm, Paul. I changed the file name of the texture and it now works fine. That said, I've used longer names for texture files in the past with no problems. What a quirky little thing Bryce can be.
