Does anyone have links to Belly Dancing clothes and motion files.

I was very disapointed with the Agrabah Nights: V4 Bellydance By: CJ-Studio.
All the clothes are not conforming just static props.
If anyone has any links Thanks
Bill

Check out www.es3d.com - they have a set of motion files for indian and eastern dancing styles. They might have what you need.
Cheers,
Mark

Have a look at this link. Chances are you can clothify the hip and make the skirt move dynamically. I've done this technique on all kinds of conforming skirts and dresses so far.

Here is a dynamic belly dancer outfit at 3D Commune.
It doesn't show up when you search. But if you click on "what's new" for the store, it's in the top row on the second page.

Actually, that is the same outfit as found here:
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=58728&vendor=CJ-studio
The reason it's a static prop is because it's dynamic clothing that you need to work with in the cloth room.
If you do not know how to use the cloth room, here are some links to some tutorials that will help you:

DId you read the Readme? The props are Dynamic Clothing Props - if you use Poser 5+, you use the cloth room to 'clothify' them.
I've put up http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1515798 in the gallery to show the outfit in use with one of the poses from the accompanying package.

Traveler's Fantasy Dancer costume, totally conforming and originally for V2 I think, turns up for sale once in a while. It's more "Hollywood" than "tribal," but very good in its way. RenaPD's and Deecey's textures for it are at RDNA, I think. And Digiport Designs just updated their excellent belly dancer poses (again, for V2, I think) for use with either V4 or the G2 women -- available at CP, I think.I haven't installed the Agrabah stuff yet, but one of the big appeals was that it is dynamic; my main issue with Traveller's outfit is that belly dance costumes don't lend themselves to conforming. Not that he had the choice of dynamic when he created the originals. I'd be happy to pay again for a set of the Fantasy Dancer Costume made of mixed conforming/dynamic parts, especially if they were set up to fit a variety of newer figures.
The link is my review of the entire suite -- costume, add-on textures, and poses -- from about when they came out.

The problem isn't the outfit. It's the fact that he didn't seem to realize that the outfit he has is dynamic and needs to go through the cloth room. I think once he manages that, the outfit he has will be more than adequate for his needs.

Yah, the skeletal movements aren't -overly- complex (if you can get the speed correct, at least); it's the muscle work that no figure out there has even the beginnings of the flexibility needed to even approximate. Get some of the Bellydance Superstars and step frame through some of the routines. Even if you could create the morphs for the belly and breasts, the memory load would be insane...

Belly Dancing is hard!!! Years ago I signed up for a class and gave up after 2 of them! I'm not very co-ordinated, LOL

Very nice. Which outfit is this? Any links?
