Ok I have just about gone mad trying to work this out and I dont think its going to happen so I am going to request someone do it for me. Would someone please please please make me some INJ/REM files for a character I have created from the Morphs+++ package that came with V4? I will send you the cr2 file and you can keep the character if you like her but I am going really nuts now. Please contact me through the site mail here with your email address and I will send it on to you as soon as I can. Thanks

If you used morphs or any part of V4, there is probably a copyright problem with redistributing the files.

Have you tried this tutorial?

Sorry, I thought you were including the actual V4 morphs :)

What do you want to do with the INJ/REM set?  SVDL has a python script called SpawnCharacter.py, that will make your INJ/REMs for you.

What Acadia is alluding to is that you need to be aware of DAZ at this point.  They would call foul, becasue you've offered to let somebody have at your V4.CR2, all be it just to let he/she make an INJ/REM for you.  Along the same lines of copyright, SVDL's script happnes not to exclude data that DAZ would complain about being transfered, between two people, in any way.  SVDL may very well have fixed this by now, but we'll have to run that by him.

I would not be letting them have the V4.cr2, but the cr2 file of the character I created from V4. I saved the character so I have the cr2 file for my character.

I think the CR2 file is still the V4 figure  though, even though you have changed some of the morphs to make your own character.  Saving a morphed up character to the figure library basically just creates a morphed up copy  of the Daz figure.  It still is the same figure containing the same mesh, geometry etc.  At least that's my understanding.

Acadia is correct.  The .cr2 you saved to your FIgures library, with the DAZ V4.CR2, is still a V4..CR2.  If you let an other person handle it, then they could save a copy for themselves, and not need to buy V4.

Actually even if you were to export morphs, of your work, DAZ could argue that the Delta data of the morph could be used to recreate a V4 figure.  This was a major reason behind DAZ's invention of INJ/REMs.

DAZ has a product for creating INJ/REM files, it's calle IPB(Injection Pose Builder.)  Stand alone it's like $30, but if you should sometime become a DAZ Platinum Club Member it's like $1.99.  The Platinum Club is $30 for one month, but I forget what the year membership is.  Once a member many good DAZ things are free, or $1.99.

DAZ had a %50 off sale a few months ago, after purchasing the Platinum Club Membership I got about $250 worth of stuf, for about $60(incuding the membership)

I was very sad when I realized copyrights work, but at least I came into the know whithout costing myself money..

Then I give up on V4. Can't be bothered with so much red tape. Thanks anyway

What version of poser are you using?  It should be as simple as saving a pose except when asked to include morph channels click yes.  You can also do this for particular parts of the figure by selecting subset and checking the parts you would like to save.

I gave up too. And I tried many things.

dont give up

we buy many things that take the character and spin the dials to create something somone put together.  i think we're confusing passing off your dial spinning as a morph of your own.  i can't say i know what the answer is to this (yet) but it is there, lots of people do it, and you can too.  i am certain you can spin the dials without copywrite problems.  after all, what they desire is that the person receiving this file must have their package of morphs already, not that you are sending actual morphs created from their morphs.

i would try asking some content creator whose work does this very thing for further clarification, maybe someone you have bought something from.
when you find us out please clue us in too.

good luck

You save the parameter settings as a pose. Save it just like you would a regular pose except for what I previously mentioned.
