I just did a search on Daz 3D site.
I found still avalible at Platinum Pricing.
Dogs. Cats, Horses I cant remember the other thing you were
looking for. they were all $1.99 each. Not every thing is free.
some times it costs a little. It helps the designers keep
designing.

all you need to do is select the items catagory your searching through
and in the grey box where it says Platinum select Only . At that point you wil
only see items that are being sold at the Platinum price.
To sign in as a Daz member is free then you can see the Platinum stuff.
You need to be a Platinum member to buy them only. when you see what
you want call your sister.
There are to many items to list here Go to Daz3D and creat an account.

The idea was to get him to create an account were he would have read
that statment, and then see just how easy it is to be a member, then join
Platnum and passably start paying for the items. But hay you need to jump
he gun and start off yelling at the guy, so be it he's all yours i'm done.

Ok here you go DazRyan, going by that then by rights my wife can not log on to Daz3d.com or anyother site and purchase an item for me using her credit card(which is our only one), also by rights the wish lists wich people can use to purchase an item for someone is in breach of said 3rd party copy rights...so infact Daz3d.com, Renderosity, 3Dcommune.com, PoserPro or anyother site that allows such things to go one are infact breaking such copyrights...
Hmmm interesting how they use the copyright law yet infact the breach it themselves wouldn't you ay ?
Guess my wife will just have to stop purchasing things for me from either sites...i feel sorry for the artist that put in the time on items i have my eye on.
I have opinions of my own -- strong
opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

If you are not using those items on HIS computer, that is illegal. I strongly urge you to delete all non-legal files on your computer. DAZ has several bundles of completely free content, and there is a lot of free content here, as well. Renderosity has a zero-tolerance policy for warez useage, so this will be the one and only time you're warned about it. Most times, we don't even warn.
These are free from DAZ:
3D Bridge Starter Pack
V3, M3, Hiro, and Aiko
DAZ Free Stuff Archive
Plus, every week, DAZ has a new product in the store, for one week only.

CrazyDawg, you're taking that WAY out of context. What that means is, when someone buys something from DAZ for THEIR use, it is licensed for THEM. At DAZ, they consider items used on the same computer (possibly in the same home, you'd have to ask them) as completely within license. However, I can't buy something, burn it to disk or send it via messenger, and give it to you if I bought it. You could use it if you came over to my house and hopped on my computer, but I couldn't give it to you to take home with you.

Jenx, ok then so you say i have taken it out of context..then could you please explain to me if i have infact taken what is posted in the Renderosity Market place EULA out of context..i'll quote what i mean and i'm sure anyone may check up on it.
Quote: "The Buyer may not redistribute this archive file, in whole or in part. The Buyer may not store it any place on a network or on the Internet where it may be referenced by a third party."
Going by that, my wife may not purchase an item to give me for my birthday(which i was going to do) on her computer or mine and give it to me...now we only have one credit card, in my wifes name so all purchases we make on renderosity are with that credit card, therefore because of the MarketPlace EULA my wife is in breach of it and the copyrights to any item..
Please Jen, understand one thing..i only look at things and if i find that they can be taken out of context(read the wrong way) i will post it in that way...

It was always my understanding that the wish list was there for a purpose.
I have baught many items over the years and given them to friends as a gift
because it was on there wish list.
If it had not been for my brother giving me so mush of this stuff I would not
have converted. Sense then my purchases are over a thousand. My opinion
such as it is you give the gift of an item or two that person ends up buying
more.
I am sure the wish list is there for that reason it would not make any since otherwise.
My two cents worth.

If someone buys something for you as a gift, through the wishlist, it's yours. They have no access to it on their members' account screen.
If you and your wife use the same computer, you're golden. It's transferring the files to make duplicates so that it's on 2 computers is when you get in trouble. You may not make copies with the intent to redistribute, meaning you can't make a copy for a friend, you can't upload it to a server, you can't make discs to hand out to anyone.
What you can do is make discs for backup. You can place a copy of them on a backup hard drive. If you want more specific info, you'll need to contact the store administration.

I think you may have cleared it up for us Jen as my wife purchase an item on her computer and downloads it to that one then she places it on a disk to give it to me and she in turn deletes the downloaded file from her computer as she doesn't need it for her own use..
gee be easier if i got my own credit card but the bank wont allow me one being a pensioner

What your wife 'should' do, if you both have an account here, is for her to buy you a 'gift' item..that way it goes straight to you and your computer, and therefore legal. {not to her computer, then on a disc, then onto your computer, which is illegal.}

Or, if she's purchasing it with her card via your account, tell her to NOT download it, and YOU download it onto your computer. That way, you've got no trouble whatsoever.

Now I am confused..Does this mean that if I have two computers side by side I can only have it on one computer? Someone else in the house hold uses the other computer occasionally. What about people who have lap tops to work while they travel and desk tops to use at home?

I'm going to default to, if you want clarification on EULA's, as the staff of the stores you're purchasing from. Jumps and I are not STORE staff, we're community staff ;) If you want answers for Rendo purchases, ask in the Store Support forum, and if you're looking for questions for DAZ purchases, ask for clarification at DAZ. Likewise with the other stores. ;) We can only give you vague guidelines, but we do try to be decently educated about these things.
Also, that's a pretty standard license, having it be only for use either per person or per computer.

DAZ have said that the licence covers the household, though I'm not sure how broad their definition would be (if you're a group of students sharing digs I'd check with them): however, the reply was given in the context of a family so you can be pretty sure that's going to be OK.
