Hi Victor,

Great to see your post!

Victor has purchased some material packages for Bryce through the Renderosity MarketPlace and is trying to get them installed into his Material library in Bryce.

I dont have Bryce loaded up and dont know the software well enough to tell him what to click in the Material lab to import the material files.
He is also having problems locating the included Material presets that come with Bryce.

Can some of the Bryce heavies in here give him a hand?
Thanks everyone!!

Once you have purchased items from the R'osity marketplace, click on the link at the top of the Marketplace front page called "Account". (Next to the links for "What's New" "What's Hot" and "Cart". If you are still logged in, this should take you to your available downloads page, with the most recent purchase at the top of the list. Just click on the available link to download the purchase. (I usually do a right-click and save-as, myself.) As for Bryce: If the presets were already installed, they will be found be clicking on the small arrow to the right of the "Edit". This will bring up the Material presets sub-window. Then look down to the bottom left for a pop-up access to the various sub-folders that are available. If they are *not* already installed; then unzip/move them into folder >Bryce>Presets>... They will then be available when you open Bryce again, as described.

Lots of bryce menus hide until you call them or do something else. To see the materials you can press the edit button like Rosemaryr says. You can also create an object wich will then have a set of buttons next to it. The square with an "M" also brings up the materials window when clicked.

There are quick instructions on how to load Bryce native materials, skies, etc. in the Bryce F.A.Q. link located in the header at the top of this forum.
