As usual, I am running behind on things so no preview yet of the costume I am working on. But it is similar to what you see in the first pic.

Oh wow...I hadn't seen how things were progressing... :D Probably cause I had my head buried in this guy's runtime. I finally had a chance to look around at how much I neglected the house work while working on him...yikes---eek! This is shaping up great!! Love the throne.
mapps posted Sat, 22 September 2007 at 9:33 PM
Thanks :-) Love the work you have done on the figure :-)

Oh...that's still AMAZING work!! I'll be sending you the link to download the tester pack directly. I still need to do a few things, but it's just final polish work. As he stands, he's done. And thanks! He was interesting to work on. I've never done a male character before.

This joint set seems to be taking flight nicley, can't wait to see all the finished components.
shadownet posted Sat, 22 September 2007 at 10:48 PM
Same here. Being sort of the middle man I have gotten to look over you guys shoulders and it has been fun just watching this different items develop! Kitanetos and the throne room are awesome! I am very close to having the costume wrapped and then Rena will be free to work her magic! Those finishing touches should really make for a nice collection of theme related items! :O)

OK... here I am too... last and embarassed without a preview on my own part yet! Sigh!
But don't worry guys... I'm fast and I'll catch up with all of you as soon as I get the final package of the clothing including all items! (The organizing freak I am... I like to work on sets!) :)
So far it looks fantastic!! :)
shadownet posted Sun, 23 September 2007 at 12:16 AM
Hehe, that's cause I am so slooooooooooooooooow! But I am nearly there! Should have everything wrapped up and to you (fingers crossed) sometime tomorrow. Then you will be able to get started. Kind of hard to do previews of anything when you have to wait on a slow poke. :O)

Thanks! I never dreamed how many people beside me find Minoan culture so fascinating. Of course we did purposely make it a bit more on the fantasy than historical, this way the items will lend themselves well to all kinds of art work! Mapps throne room could easily pass for a modern day museum. Plus, its modular so you can change things around and come up with all sorts of new looks. Gypsyangels character would look cool on a Harley or in cowbow duds with a six gun strapped to his side. There is just so much raw potential here! :O)

Ya know, to scale with the room he would be 15 feet tall, but he looks awesome :-)
shadownet posted Tue, 25 September 2007 at 12:30 PM
Actually he just seems 15 feet tall cause he is so arrogant! Everything around him seems to shrink! :O)

The Bull King Collection is now in the RMP! A lot of work went into this Collection. Please take a moment to check it out! Its a great collection of fantasy items. Don't think it is just limited to just the Minoan Bull King theme. Character, Props, Setting, Clothing etc. will fit a wide variety of themes, even modern day. Special note to those of you who have been saying everything is always for female characters and mostly V4. Well here is a great collection of items for Michael 3. Prove to us we did not waste our time in answering that call!

Well this set may be aimed at M3 but I have noticed that 2 people that purchased "The Bull Kings Throne Room" are Laura Croft fanatics :-) So like shadownet said, there are other uses :-)

Hey that's cool! Particular since I am working on another Lara Croft pic. I was surprised how well the Tombraider: Night of the Minotaur was recieved. I was a bit disappointed with it. Not enough action. :O)mapps posted Mon, 15 October 2007 at 6:42 AM
Oh and if you act now you can get all 4 parts for a total of $28.50 for almost 300 meg of stuff (once unzipped). Regular price for all 4 parts total is $33.00. A pretty good deal if I do say so myself :-) I was gonna List what is in all 4 sets but the list would be pages long, so here is just the Throne Room. Yes, I think maybe that's what is scaring folks, eh? Too much cool stuff! They're like shellshocked! If they take the time though and look at what all they get, they will really be amazed! And with the added savings you mentioned, now is definitely the time to buy!

It all looks great. But please be patient. I've already spent my pitence of a Poser buget this month and have to wait, but the items have definately made my Wishlist. And it's nice to see merchants teaming up for such a united project like this. So kudos all around!
Now, if it were for Apollo, I'd not eat for the last part of the week and pick it up. But these days, any Apollo items take precendent over M3 items, and I've a bit behind on Apollo, too. Wish I had more cash, but hard times are upon me for w hile longer.

Hi Jeff, thanks for the nice comments! If I get a few more requests, I will consider an Apollo version of the clothing. To be honest, I have not had much time to try out Apollo but what little I have used him, he seems like a great figure.
mapps posted Mon, 15 October 2007 at 4:06 PM

Mapps -- that's sweet. Thanks for a wonderful set/scene, too. I've several of your sets and love them. Your part of my top 3 RMP set creators, so the Bull King one is a must to have when I can afford it.
As far as the outfit and character set, when Wardrobe Wizard 2 is released, I should be able to get both of them and use them both on Apollo :) Saving my pennies for that release (WW 1 is good, but not good enough to use the conversions for close ups, IMO, and WW 2 will convert skins, too). Everything in the Cult of of the Bull is too good to pass up... eventually.
But kudos again for teaming up on a theme.
Hopefully you'll all have my money soon :)

Well the Room set is on sale right now for $7.50 till Nov 12th. So with any luck you will get a chance to grab it while it is one sale and save a couple of bucks :-) I am very honored to hear I am in your top 3 merchants for sets :-) My 5th anniversary of posting at Rosity is almost here, and every year I do a special large download as my anniversary download. I am currently working on a free extra for the throne room. It has options that expand the set and options that do not require the set at all. No sense doing a Anniversary download that requires purchase. It will make the set more friendly with Laura Croft type renders. pitfall, jump over spots, vegetation covered textures, vines, a alternate floor pattern and some crumbling stones. I had intended to put these in the original download but hit the 50 meg limit before I thought I would. So these will be a standalone addition with some included alternative presets for the set too. This will include "Aged" versions of all the rooms included in the market download the market set will be required to use them but there will be at least 3 room designs that do not require the market set. I hope to have this done by Monday the 22nd. :-)
