Hello
Is DAZ Cloth Converter worth the money?
I have a lot of V3 clothing and want to use it on V4 too.
Will this programm fit my needs?

I would say NO, go with Crossdresser.
I have the Daz Clothing Converter, Wardrobe Wizard AND Crossdresser.

Got to second KyRob.Just last night I used Crossdresser for the first time and I must say I am impressed. The same exact clothing item I used in WW that had feet problems worked totally great and easy in crossdresser.
Here is a lnk to fairywylde that has links to some free licenses and the program itself (which is also free)

I'm confused about the Crossdresser program. I just bought it and after converting a CR2 file, where does it go? And does it modify the original CR2, thus damaging it? I'm confused. Thanks in advance.

I had problems with cross dresser.... if you have an older machine like mine, you might have the same problems - in the working window, my mouse C R A W L E D - until it got ou of that window and onto a button, then it zoomed across the screen. my computer just cant handle the program, so its going to have to wait for me to test it out again when i get the new one =/ i'm sure its a great program, i just cant utilize it yet (give me a few more months)
i've used clothes converter from Daz - some things it works great on, others you can spend hours tweaking & still get nowhere.

Thanks for responding. I figured out where the new converted CR2 file goes, but when I go there, it's still not there. The folder is there under !converted which is inside Evilinnocence folder, but nothing shows up there. It's empty. I don't get it.

In your Figures list is a folder called ' **!Converted
**No- it dosn't do anything to the original. It just saves the new mesh to the !Converted folder
(edited- I screwed up my colors or something-grrrr)

Yes there is a !Converted folder but there is nothing in it. It's empty. It generated the folder, but there is nothing in it.

OK, I found it right where you said it was. For some reason there is also a !Converted folder inside an Evilinnocence folder in the Figures library. Thanks for your help.

I got crossdresser as few days ago. I converted a V4 dress to Terai Yuki and it worked like a dream. This programm is really worth the money.
Thanks for all the helpful comments.

Another in favor of CrossDresser. If you want to see impressive, have it convert an actual figure (not clothing) to another.

I have bought it one hour ago Try to convert a cr2 from V3 to V4 (bought v4 license)
The conversion seems ok but the progam create lot of folders in 2 runtimes ( in P5 where was my original V3 file and in P7 where is the v4 folder) in caracters folders and in geometries folders ,two kinds (Eviinnocence folders and !converted folders)
But nothing in each folder just folder
Why not a just save as option ?
Why all these folders?
I am not sure for now i did a good thing
WW was ok even it is a little bit longer to use
kayjay97 posted Wed, 03 October 2007 at 4:59 PM
mine always go into the EvilInnocence filder in geometries and the converted folder where I point the poser runtime to
I think it's fantastic myself

I made a dummy external runtime just for conversions.
