Attached Link: Deep Paint Free @ Download.com

I remember many years ago I looked at a Photoshop plugin named Deep Paint. (Not Deep Paint 3d, this is the 2D version.)

So the other day I tripped over the fact that this is -- FREE -- now. (Well, has been for 2 years it seems.)

So for those who didn't know, I'll post the link. It's reputable, not warez.

Enjoy. :)

I rememeber this, but not well enough.  Does any have any links to reviews, and/or screenshots.  I went to the download.com link, but there was no Authors Website link.

Does anyone use Deep Paint 2d or 3d with a Wacom? If so, can you tell me how to make the paint appear where I aim my cursor? When I use a tablet, the paint is beamed an inch or so to the left the cursor. You can adjust to this, but it's a pain when you need accurate placement.

Yea, that would be a good one to know about!  Happens on mine too. Like you said, you can adjust (to a point I forgot all about it), but it would be nice to fix it.
I tend to use a mouse for precise placement of single dabs... kind of a pain, but there are so many other great things about the program :)

Thanks for the tip, but I have Painter X and I'm sure that Deep Paint can't hold a candle to it (it isn't free however).  There was a painting program that e-frontier was giving away with their Content Paradise collections--I'm not sure what it was called though.

I'd be interested if the 3D version were available for free.  I wish Corel would come out with a 3D version of Painter that actually worked (the old Painter 3D by Metacreations had series bugs that were difficult to work around).  Now that Photoshop has some 3D abilities I'm hoping that will spur Corel to get with the program.
