I am still flabbergasted!  Words cannot express how surprised and honored I am to be chosen for this month's GOM!!

I haven't been doing digital photography all that long, and the images here at Renderosity are so much inspiration to me!  There isn't a day that goes by that I don't look through the gallery with oohs and aahs, wishing I could do this or that.  There are so many things I haven't learned yet, and even if and when I do get the opportunity to learn, for instance, the silky water technique for waterfalls, or how to shoot the moon, it's all been done before, and so much better than I could do.  I'm always delighted and humbled by the views and comments that come from all you talented folks here.

Thank you so much!  Renderosity is like a second home to me.  And since getting my 30D last year, I've completely forgotten about fractals or anything else I was doing.  This hobby, or should I say obsession, is a most enjoyable albeit challenging journey of discovery.

I  am very grateful to Renderosity for all that they do, both collectively and individually, to keep this great site going, and free of charge for those who don't subscribe, just so we can all share our images with each other.

Thank you for your warm greetings, and thank you very kindly for this honor.  I am very touched!

Sending you all a warm digital {{hug}},

Maria

I was almost sure I wrote already a comment here... and tonight, as end of the month is approaching, I come back here to read the entire thread and... find no trace of a post from me...
So, Maria I have to sincerely apologize and send you now very late my warm congratulations for this highly deserved recognition of your photographic talent !
I really enjoy looking at a lot of pictures in your gallery
Big hugs, Maria !
