This is Poser related because its for a room background in Bryce for my Poser figures. I'm looking for the URL for what I remember as a tutorial for creating oriental rugs in Bryce with several dl images to use in the tutorial. I've been there several times and not followed it and was sure I'd bookmarked it, but I can't find it. I've gone through all of Lannie's models and tutorial links and the same for Bryce Chronicles and several others. I sure hope someone can steer me in the right direction. TIA, Diane

Dont know about the tutorial, but the easiest way is to websearch for oriental rug dealers, many of whom show straight on pictures of various rugs. Save image and simply use as texture on a one sided square prop which you can size as needed....works quite well. Scarab

Thanks Scarab. This is really for Bryce and I've solved it. I knew I could do that with a 2D square in Bryce, but thought he had other variations using them on perhaps a terrain or symmetrical lattice. Diane

Just thinking about it, you could do it on a terrain.... I'll play with it tonight and see if I can get it to work.

That's what I did, but I'd like to see yours (smile). I made it slightly 'rumpled' as though someone had scuffed it up. Diane
