I think I must have missed something but
what would the perks of having 4.1 be ?
 
And can v4 use V 4.1  skins and clothes ?

It's a free update to go from V4 to V4.1...
Many new face morphs is the big motivation.  Skins and cloths are work the same as far as I'm aware.

If a skin uses transmapped brows, it won't work the same way on V4. V4.1 has brow geometry and a material zone to take the texture, while V4 does not. A dial-spun morph that uses morphs only in V4.1 isn't going to be able to be taken identically by V4 since she'd lack a few of those options; V4 also can't handle the muscle morph or creature morph add on morph packs, which were designed to work with V4.1. Those are the only big differences I can think of.

does anyone know if Snowsultan has made a V4.1 seam guide yet please?

as i have just started a V4 tex but have the feeling i might be about to stick it on a V4.1 character, luckily i have just done a bit of face so far!! so might be able to tranfer that over.

The seam guide is the same except for the brow area. This should do the trick: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/index.php?user_id=856 -- look for his V4 templates, and the V4.1 head with brows. SnowSultan's seam guides are heaven to work with.
