Hi everyone here at Rendo, I've posted this on the Bryce Talk Forum over at DAZ but am not really getting anywhere and would like to find out what I can do to remedy this problem. POST#1. I just opned up bryce, loaded a preset scene and was going to import an object from my trees and got the ERROR window below. OK? Problem #2. I went ahead and rendered out the scene and was ready to save the image and got another ERROR window (below). Have I missed something or can anyone shed some light on these 2 problems? Thanks much for any input. POST#2. I did a complete reinstall and still nothing, meaning same problem still exists. What can I do? I've spent , for me, what is a small fortune on this plus extras that were advertised at DAZ (Clay Trees, Desert Scenes, JARSM Terrains, etc.) and they are totally useless to me now. Even when I want to open an .obp it comes up unhighlighted so I'm unable to open it. What recourse do I have? I would really like to use this application as it makes the ideal backgrounds and terrain that I need for my art. I'm on a IMac 10.4.10 Intel Core Duo 24" Cheers;^} Michael

Are you sure that everything you are trying to load into the scene is compatible with Bryce 6?

Return all for a refund - for some Mac owners Bryce just doesn't work.

I think I remember some goofy error code like that before on the Macs at school once. Either has something to do with one of these things...
File name length, hidden files that begin with a "." (a dot), or some directory or something it can't find or is busy with another app.

PJ, that can be a problem but in this case DAZ just failed to include all the requried resource files with Mac 6.1.13.1. If you have installed older builds like I have, Bryce doesn't have these problem. This is the second time DAZ has done this and is a total failure by the Quality Assurance people.

Thanks very much Dan and everyone, for your help and input! I reinstalled Bryce 6 and have had absolutely no problems at all. So I guess I'll just keep this going until they straighten everything out. And once again thanks! Cheers ;^} Michael
