Carrara 6 is making me nigh crazy.... I'm a newbie to Carrara. Here's my situation:
I've Poser 7 and 6 (to get Transposer work correctly) installed and Carrara 6 pro SP2 with Transposer 2. Now when I want to open a file that I've created in P7, I always get the message that some textures cannot be located, although I've resaved the PZ3 files in P7 again and again, as mentioned in the Transposer-helpfile.
Anyway, when I accepted the error-message, only a few items of the scene are visible in C6.
What am I doing wrong? Isn't it possible to import a PZ3 file into C6 without any errors? Or do I have to install all the Poser items into C6 too (Runtime path?)?
Even a simple figure with just morphs and textures won't load without an error (texture acnnot be located..... and then the scene is empty after acknowledging the message).
Please help me! I'd soooo love to work with C6 finally.....

try this! this is what i do..
make a scene in P7...save it.
Start p6 ..ad runtime P7 ..load the scene and save it again...
Load it into CAR6 ..and it work perfect...
i got a 99,9 % good load this way.

Finally I've managed to load a PZ3 file AND render it! jumps through her office
Look, my first render:
Now I can start to learn about lights, textures, render settings and so on.....sigh

Glad it works for you because it sure doesn't for me. With native import I get the message that it can't open the pz3 With transposer 2, after 10 minutes of the rolling ball I get the message that it can't find the pz3 and asks me to locate it and when I do, nothing imports. I'm on a mac with P6 and P7 Jean-Luc
