I had a question regarding the basic structure of figures like Michael 3.
The strutural capability to do things like open the mouth and facial expressions.
Are they part of the figure or are they morph targets.?

Any help appreciated..

I'm pretty sure for M3 they are morphs that are purchased separately.  M3 Head morphs and M3 Body morphs are for sale from Daz3D.

The basic facial expressions are pre-installed morph channels. M3 has a seperarte morph "injection" set that loads many many aditional morphs to the head or body, these are sold as seperate haed or body sets. There is an applicatio called Head forge by Blacksmith3D that makes head characters without the Daz morph set and also some 3rd party head morpf sets and a very few freebie characters probably that does not require the Daz Morph sets. You can make your own morph targets in Poser with magnets and or the Morph Brush.

Micheal 3 reduced Resolution that comes in the huge $30 Daz 3D Content  Starter kit along with Victoria 3 Reduced Resolution and a ton of other stuff loads with the Reduced Resolution version of the Daz body and head morph sets pre-loaded.
