I think it's in the additional content package.

Thanks, SCR!  It's a monster, but I guess it's the only choice.

England may not qualify for Euro 2008, England lose in the Rugby World Cup Final & Lewis Hamilton loses out on the F1 title. What a bad few days for English sport!
I do have 3D gripes but if I start I'll never stop, LOL!!
I've actually deleted my entire gallery, I may regret it at some point but I think I reached the stage where I needed to move on & improve. I just need to find the time now.

Also, I'll just hijack this thread to say hi again to my friends on here. I'm back online permanently now. I probably won't have the time to post as often as I did before but it's good to be back & I'll try not to talk too much trash as I usually do, LOL.

Good to see you back, Storm.

Here's a 3D related gripe...

OperaGuy got me thinking about poses.

Poses which move forearms, lower legs and fingers above the first joint from side to side.  Female poses which insist on all women walking round on their tiptoes.

Most of the time I use my own poses but I'm still amazed by how bad some canned poses are.

Oh yeah, another one.  This is a perennial dislike...

Female faces with huge, pouty, smacked in the face lips.  And teeny, tiny noses.  And huge eyes.

And - sorry, all you faery fans - those bleeding huge great pointy bloody ears.  Not that it's any business of mine, since I avoid them like a blood transfusion from Rock Hudson.

Baked in specularity in hair textures.  Skin people don't do it any more so now we should grab our pitchforks and go to work on the hair guys.

Somebody stop me!

LOL, that's bad Sam, but very funny!

I agree about the hair textures. OK, we could correct this ourselves, but if you've paid for the hair then you shouldn't have to.

Brand-new gripe: People who constantly 'housekeep' and throw out
stuff that they will need tomorrow, and who really ought to have learned
after all these years that the discarded items will be needed tomorrow,
and who then have to ask for the stuff from secondary sources, which are
fortunately available but monstrously inconvenient to use.

In other words, me.

You know who hated the depiction of elves with pointed ears?  (No, not Cate Blanchett, she took the part of Galadriel partially so she could wear pointed ears.)

J.R.R. Tolkein.

My 3d gripe is about people who complain about how the Poser community is being "destroyed" by people who don't make freebies. Then the same group oif people complain about there being too many freebies, or they don't like the quality, or it's the "wrong" kind.

MatrixWorkz ( ) posted Sun, 21 October 2007 at 4:37 PM

Ummm... I was one who complained about not enough freebies and too many merchants so now I make freebies instead myself thank you very much.

Glad to know you'll stay permanently with us now Storm :D

Another gripe:

those 3D companies that make softwares you pay full bucks but don't work full time! If we were officially beta testers, we would be paid, as we are unoffivial beta testers, the real freebie is us!

Some 3d gripes:

Poses where, for example, the neck is rotated 25° and the head is rotated -25°. Like others above, I usually make my own poses, but occasionally I use premade ones for inspiration.

The fact that there are approximately 120,472.783 render plugins for 3DSMax, compared with the relatively few standalone or multi-application plugins. Please note that the above figure, while made-up, is most likely an understatement. Fortunately, however, things have been getting better recently.

GRIPE:
My favorite 3DSMax/Maya/XSI plugin is not available for Poser or Carrara.

It's a combination of a way-powerful ZBrush-type texture/mesh painter combined with an insanely great facial animation and lipsync tool. Watch Joe's videos and drool.

I got another serious gripe.  In the freebie section-those beautiful dynamic clothes, suits etc. and  the xxx forJudy morphs,   I want to do that sort of stuff too.  However, my brain cells aren't up to it.   How do I know, well me efforts in the setup room for one thing-cant tell if its SOE or the a real bug. SOE-Stupid Operator Error

Darn it that ZBrush looks fascinating-got a copy of issue 95 3D World Magazine with a tut on ZBrush.

Gripes:

-My horrible (talking almost legally blind) vision occuring NOW in my late 20s. How I dream of a world, where the first thing I wont have to do in morning, is reach for my glasses to see my alarm clock. Anyone wanna donate to my lasik fund?
-My bad back the two epidurals made worse
-My two computers. Why is that bad you may ask? Not bad, but one is a laptop and the other a desktop. The DESKTOP has ALL my poser content on it. All million contents I can't even bother to download onto my laptop so I have to sit all day long (due to my Poser addiction) upwards at the desktop, resulting in...you guessed it...MORE BACK PAIN!
-Tutorials which leave me more confused than enlightened.
-MY POSER ADDICTION. You know you're addicted when you spend $60 dollars on content for a DOLL. You know you're addicted when you're tickling your 2 yr old with one hand and browsing with the other. You know you're addicted when your chin is holding the bottle so your good hand is free. You know you're addicted when, instead of sleeping when you can, you're on the net!
-Lack of sleep. Did I even make sense? I'm working on atleast 3 GOOD hours of sleep here.

My current gripe: Working graveyard shift 4 nights a week, 10 hour shifts, not getting enough rest during the week, unable to shake a stoooopid cold and sore throat for the last 3 weeks now!!!

I have my 8 year old daughter Friday to Mondays (my days off) but I never seem to be able to catch up on getting rest on the weekends!!!  Fortunately my little girl is harsh cool and mellow like me and she's a homebody like me too so we can just chill at home and still have a great weekend!!

Another gripe: Had a HD die a few weeks back and still haven't gotten around to getting all my Poser stuff  or 3D Studio Max reinstalled...  Not enough time or energy....

Have Max 8 and the new 3D Studio Max 2008 is looking SWEET!

Might have to check into upgrade options!!  Then I'll be griping about $$$ or the lackthereof after that!!!  LOLZ!!

NO GRIPE!

Actually the down turn in the US economy is great for me...an exchange rate of my £ buying 2 of your $'s is great for my bank account...plenty of quality goodies at peanut prices ;0)
Obviously I'm making the most of it until our economy goes belly up lol!
